  I made the common mistake of ordering a generic HDMI cable on amazon.com made by abacus just to save a few bucks. After I received the cable I could only get 1080i resolution from my PS3 and TV. At the advice from my local Gamestop who advised to get the Sony brand HDMI cable, I ordered one. When it came, I unhooked the generic cord and hooked up the Sony one and BAM!!! 1080p resolution. Don’t be fooled by cheap generic cables. Get the name brand Sony. The money spent on this cable is well worth it and alot cheaper than the Monster brand.

  Works flawlessly with my Sony PS3. This is the best hdmi cable you can buy!!! It is compatible with all digital equipment. Note: If your HDTV does not support 1080p, then you will not see a difference between using this cable and the component cables. However, if you are fortunate enough to have a HDTV that supports 1080p, you will definitely see an improvement over the component cables. Don’t waste your money on the overhyped and overpriced Monster brand cables. Get this one!

  It’s as it says the right HDMI cable for whom has full HD LCD TV (it works for both Full HD & HD TV) some may say I bought another product and it worked very good… but the question is whether he has a HD TV or FULL HD coz some cables won’t give you 1080p who has full HD so it’s really weasting money to get really cheep cables when you have full HD TV and not using it full power!!

  So I really recommend this item very very very much, it’s really feels great when you know where are you putting your money in and it’s really Not that expensive, so I do recommend this cable for both who has HD or full HD TV to use the true power for your TV.

  A tad pricey for just a cable, but still cheaper that most brands you would find at Best Buy for example. Works excellent with my HDTV. Don’t but a knock off cable. It’s worth the investment for the sony cable. Call of Duty 4 looks amazing!!!!!!! Thanks sony and amazon!!!!!!!!!

  I wasn’t sure if I would need this for the Playstation 3 I bought a for Christmas but I did and I am so glad I went with the Sony as the pamphlet said it would make a difference.

  This cable appears to be well made and works well. I use it to connect my PS3 to a Samsung SyncMaster 245T monitor to watch blu-ray movies in 1080p hi-def. Glorious! If it matters to you, be advised that the cable I received (as well as the ones I’ve seen in local stores) was black, not white as shown on Amazon.

  Really neat image. It’s a really big difference between using this cable and a component one, even if your TV doesn’t support Full HD. I use it in 1080i and it’s far better than when I use a component cable.

  If you own a PS3 and a television that supports HDMI, you must have this! Don’t use the red/white/yellow cables that come with the PS3 because they don’t support the video/audio speeds the PS3 can output. This cable allows for 1080p crystal clear gaming, even though there aren’t that many games that are 1080p. It doesn’t matter if you have a plasma LCD TV or whatever, be sure to check if it supports HDMI first before buying this.

  I purchased this item and it seems to be very high quality cable and it’s capable carrying full 1080p signal. I am using this cable on my LG 42″ 1080p HDTV and the picture is awesome. I would recommend this to all.
