  The review prior to this is an unfair low rating due to the fact he didn’t know it already came with his 360. This item is only for people who need a new one or purchased a 360 without one. The 360 component cable is an excellent cable and great for high definition gameplay. 5 stars.

  This cable comes with the $399 version of the xbox. The only reason you would need this cable would be for the “core” model or yours broke.

  I felt compelled to write a review after some people gave it a low rating due to not reading product discriptions. If you bought the core system- 299- this does not come with the system only the standard yellow red white cables. So if you want to use a core system on your HDTV you need thsi cable.

  Ran the cables that came with my system thru my wall and wanted to have freedom to move system without massive work for when my wife kicks me out of the family room. Now I just move my system and power cord and I am gaming where she is not…LOL!

  This is for the Microsoft brand Xbox 360 Component HD cable. Amazon had it for a reasonable price and they were quick in shipping and delivering it. I always trust Amazon for getting what I need.

  This is a HEADS UP to all people that will be buying the new Xbox that comes with the 250GB hard drive.

  I bought my son the MW2 XBox (bundle)for Christmas (but ‘we’ couldn’t wait and is up and running now). When we opened the box I noticed that the cable that came with this $400.00 bundle was just a VGA cable. Microsoft is no longer packaging their systems with the duel cable that came with the older XBox 360 Live (Pro/Elite NOT Arcade).

  A Microsoft representative told me that they were getting “in line” with PS3 and just offering the standard cable connection so everybody can enjoy it right out of the box. This makes no sense since the “older” cable had both connections on them (HD/AV and VGA). But this is Microsoft we’re talking about… so what else is new.

  Because of this I used the cable from his “old” Xbox so we didn’t have a problem. I just need another one of these cables so I can hook-up my son’s “old” 120GB XBox Live to another HDTV in our house.

  Anyway… The whole point of this review is to let you know that if you have bought the new Modern Warfare 2 XBox with the 250GB HD for Christmas and haven’t opened it up yet be advised you will need to buy this AV cable (or an HDMI cable if your HDTV supports that type of connection) if you want to be able to play in High Definition.

  A must have if you have an HDTV. These should have game with the 300 xbox I bought.

  This Cable is great it has HDMI Quality but with the HDMI i was unable to connect my Xbox360 to a home theater surround sound. But with this cable it was a breeze!

  This cable added a lot of clarity to the menus, I could ready everything and see nice crisp pictures while gameing. I recommend this for anyone with a HD set.
