This combination makes a perfect addition to my Razer gaming mouse. The exactMat is more than twice as big as regular mouse pads. It is made of anodized aluminum and each side has a different texture; one set up to facilitate speed and the other to aid control. Both do their jobs very well. The matching wrist rest relieves the pressure on your wrist making it possible to use your mouse without discomfort for extended periods of time. Both products are made out of premium materials and I think they will last a very long time.

I highly recommend these products for anyone who uses a mouse extensiely for gaming or other activities.

Love this mouse pad. Looks good and use is even better, matches great with my Logitech G9 mouse. Don’t know why I didn’t buy one sooner, cept maybe cause It was hard to justify the price on a mouse pad, no regrets though.

This is the first mousepad i’ve ever owned that cost more than $8 and it is well worth it. i use it with a logitech g9 mouse and it is very nice. i thought i’d be using the speed side of this pad but i have come to find that my mouse feels much smoother on the control side and is also quieter. some have said that this is big, really big. yeah i guess so, but i have a relatively compact corner desk and it still fits just perfectly on it. i don’t use the included wrist pad. i hate those things. i threw this one on the floor and now my cat likes to sit on it so it serves a purpose elsewhere. overall, this is very nice and seems to be built very tough. get it.

I’m not much for mousepads – the last one I had for optical mice lasted me 6 years and it was a simple 3M space one that has since been retired.

I couldn’t believe I was paying this much for a mousepad, even one with a wrist rest (who uses those??? or so I thought…), but it was completely worth it. Not only is the surface much easier to control the mouse on, but the wrist rest prevents hand fatigue and is genuinely comfortable to use.

The mat itself is seperate from the wrist rest, so it’s easily removable, however I’d advise against it.

All in all, worth the price.

If you don’t know this product or if you haven’t try this mouse pad, maybe you all think that for 30 bucks you might want to get something more than just a mouse pad..

NO !! For $30 I would say that the mouse pad is NOT OVERPRICED!! I am very pleased with this product; this thing change my gaming habit completely and paired together with any kind of gaming mouse(or even a standard 800dpi mouse), this mouse pad will ease up your mouse movement especially in the game.

There are 2 sides that you can use with the mouse pad, the speed and the control side..I still prefer the control side and use higher DPI or sensitivity on your mouse, but sometimes people also found that the speed side is also very useful to play RTS or MMO games to gain more speed for the cursor and get to your target faster. The special coating makes your mouse moves smoothly across the mouse pad with full control and relatively higher speed. The feel that I get from this pad is very different compared to other gaming surfaces; this one really gives you full control and stable feeling. I’ve tried some other mouse pad but so far this one is still the best.

The wrist rest is also very useful if your mouse is positioned lower than standard(i.e. if your desk is too low). Some people found the wrist rest is useless, but not for me; I would say that this thing gives more comfort to your wrist and keep your hand from feeling tired after hours of intense mouse movements.

The only problem for me is the size; this thing is gigantic and it will eat your desk space…but that is also what makes this pad rocks, it has a very gigantic size and surely you get the freedom to move your mouse around easily without having to worry about reaching the edge of the mouse pad.

Overall, I am very pleased with this product and I hope that if you are going to buy this item, you could feel the same as well.

    Hope this helps you! :p

I only bought this product because I had a gift certificate to spend. I wouldn’t otherwise have been able to justify the expense for a mouse pad, especially when my old one, that I had been using for well over a decade, was still working just fine (by which I mean it was still just lying on my desk doing what it does). But now that I’ve used the Exactmat I can see that it would have been worth purchasing, even if I had to put down some cash for it. I wouldn’t have believed that there could be such a difference between a “normal” mouse pad and this one. But truly, there is. I don’t quite know what to say except to encourage you, if you use your mouse as often as I do (pretty well all day every day) to give it a shot. I bet you’ll be as amazed as I am. It actually makes a difference in accuracy, speed, and everything else you expect your mouse to do for you.

My experience with precision mouse pads designed for gaming is limited, but this is so far the best that I’ve used. Previously I used a RatPadz GS which was wearing out after several years of service. It was a great mouse pad, and I debated just buying another one, but I decided to try something else as the technology had advanced somewhat since I bought it. After reading the reviews, and especially after learning that the Exactmat is anodized aluminum instead of plastic and thus probably more durable, I made the decision to get one. I bought the package that also comes with the wrist rest. I purchased a Logitech G5 mouse at the same time, the new one with two thumb buttons. The combination of the two is excellent.

So far I’ve preferred to use the smoother side. I can’t really tell the difference in accuracy between the two sides and the smoother side is quieter and easier to move the mouse on. It makes little noise. I’ve used a wrist rest for many years and the one that comes with the package is a good one. I especially like that the wrist rest is part of a larger neoprene pad that fits under the Exactmat so you don’t have to worry about the wrist rest moving around. With my RatPadz, I used a small separate wrist rest and often had to move it back into place. The printed Razer logo is wearing off the wrist rest but it isn’t affecting comfort. The trick with a wrist rest is to rest the heel of your palm on it, not your actual wrist as that can potentially damage the nerves and tendons. People with smaller hands, or those that like to use a lower mouse sensitivity and thus need to move the mouse further across the pad will probably want to use it without the wrist rest, at least when gaming.

This certainly isn’t the least expensive mouse pad, and there are less expensive alternatives that will certainly serve you well. But if you are willing to spend a bit extra, I think the Exactmat is worth the price.

I have always used what I considered to be a pretty good mousepad for my mouse (Logitech G9) and never thought about switching. It was starting to peel and look bad though, so I saw this one had high reviews and purchased it.

From the second I placed my mouse on it, I couldn’t believe the response I got from it. I honestly feel as if it doubled my mouse’s DPI. I can barely use it now at the setting it’s on (3200 DPI) due this mousepad! (I’m using the “smooth” side of the mousepad.)

The gel wrist rest is also a nice addition. I’m hoping it’ll get rid of the perpetual redness I have on my wrist from my old one.

If you’re a serious gamer, or someone who just wants to get the most out of your mouse, I highly recommend this mousepad. It’s worth every dollar.

I was pleasantly surprised when I unboxed my new Razer eXactMat, I originally ordered this this mouse “pad” because I received a $50 gift certificate for Amazon.com and the only thing that my gaming rig was lacking was an exceptional mouse pad. I didn’t really see the point of using a mouse pad with a laser mouse, but since I needed to use my gift card, I thought I’d give it a shot. This mat is a beautifully crafted piece of aluminum with two anodized surfaces (front and back) for speed or control and it works exceptionally well for intense FPS gaming as well as casual web surfing, etc…

I have used this mat with a Logitech G5, MX1100, and VX Nano and it is a pleasure to use, not to mention the fact that it allows my G5 to really get the most out of the 2000dpi laser engine.

My only gripe is that the wrist rest that is included is, in my opinion, all but useless and it is far more comfortable to use to the mat w/o it.

(but the good news is that the rest is removable and throwaway-able)

In the end, this mat is unparalleled in its performance and the pros definitely out way the cons!

What can I say? I paid $37 for a mouse pad and I am very happy about it. Don’t get me wrong, when I received it, I asked myself how someone in good conscience could charge this much for what must cost $2 or $3 to make. But I charged ahead, cleared a extraordinary chunk of desktop real estate, placed the wrist pad and mouse plate down, placed my mouse, started a game, and WOW!

The only draw back is I will now need a bigger desk, so I have somewhere to put all my stuff (OK, work)
