If you must inquire, it’s the same price you will pay if you decide to purchase through your x360. I got it to try out xbox live before buying the $50 year sub. Get it if you want to try Live and don’t like giving your credit card # to your 360, which I don’t blame you.
I think Multiplayer is way better on the PC, but will eventually get the year subscription. What’s $50 a year when your spending $60 on games?

The Xbox live service is second to none in terms of console gaming. The issue is this: You are forced into a windows live stinky hotmail account to use Xbox live. Another Microsoft bully BS sceme to force people into their crappy products/programs they could care less for. I use MAC now, ditched windows and even before dumping Vista I gave Windows Live Messenger/Windows Live the boot and switched to Yahoo and Gmail. So much better and it works. I hate Windows Live and I hate being forced to keep my WL account active just to be able to play Xbox live it sucks! I hope microsoft goes out of the computing business and just makes Xbox consoles.

Hi, I purchased this gold card for my bf’s xbox elite gaming system and he was very pleased that he was able to go right from the box to getting online and playing. My one complaint is that if you have a goldcard and you buy the elite which comes with a 30 day free membership also, you should use the free memebership first. Which isnt a problem but they should tell you. Its just a hassle once you have created your profile, you have to redo the process. Thats my only complaint. He had no problems using the card and is very pleased with the service.

Once XBox live has your credit card its extrememly difficult, complicated, and time consuming to get it taken off. XBox billing support told me that to remove a credit card we needed to downgrade the XBox account to silver, then figure out how to log onto the xbox live account on our computer, find the right page on the computer, then delete the credit cards, and they would send us a free coupon to upgrade our account again. Good luck controlling your kids spending on XBox live on your credit card, espoecially if they are over 18 then XBox will not let you stop downloads using Family controls. THen there is no way but to call ALL the credit cards that you have listed in XBox and tell them not to allow charges any more, and hopefully they will block those charges for as long as you want. Meanwhile, your 18-year old will probably be getting credit card offers in the mail … and may get himself into a lot of debt as a result.

I would like to thank custom console giving me a great experience.
It was fast, easy and awesome price.
Good Thing I did not buy the 1 month from the store.
Thank You Custom Console.

i do like to play online games, such as battlefield bad company 2, mw2, and many more, the 1 month card is not worth buying, id say at least buy the 3 month or 12 month to make it worth your money, you can get the 1 months for free very easy
check my video out on how to do so, iv gotten 3 1600 ms points but i could have gotten about 7 of these 1 month cards
