Just makes it easier to move XBox 360 without having to rerun the cords behind the TV.

The power supply has a built in fan which initially sounded like a good idea. However, what it sounds like is a large vibrating motor buzzing next to the xbox. It’s surprisingly loud. Also, there’s a constant odd smell almost like burning but not quite. Even with the fan, it can overheat after long periods. We have the xbox in a basement (so cool) and after several hours of children playing rock band, it will eventually red ring the 360. After cooling down, it works fine again. In a way, it’s like a built in parent time control.

With my wife demanding some time on the large TV in the living room I wanted the option of moving the XBox360 to the den without having to uplug everything and drag cables around, etc.

Plug it all in and it’s ready. Just that easy.
