  We really needed this! This really helps give some extra distance between your setup and the couch. We’re getting the kids into old-school games on the Wii, and some of the items (like the dance mat) really benefit from the extra length this extension cord gives. Plus it’s a great value – very nice quality and you can’t beat the price!

  Basically it works, I still whup nubs on brawl, just now I lie down on my couch while I do it Anyway it works and the white color matches the Wii. 10 ft is the longest I found and allowed me to wrap it around the back of my desk. So I super glued some Velcro to it and the bottom of my desk so that I can plug it in with out having this wire lying across my floor (My couch is right next to my desk), yet if I ever decide to move it I can always take it off.

  So yea I recommend it. Especially since wave birds are so damn expensive now (O well at least I got Rumble).

  Oh to be nit-picky when i got in the mail it was in an envolope and somewhat folded like it is in the products picture. This caused it to be really kinky which may get on some nerves but should a non-issue. The only reason i mention it is because I don’t see why they just don’t wrap it in a circle.

  One more thing If you are buying this with a new controller you may want to instead check out the new gamecube controller MADE BY NINTENDO (none of that 3rd party crap–look for the logo)Its a white controller that matches the Wii and most notably it comes with a 10 FOOT cord so you may not even need the extension.

  This is the perfect length if you need some room between your TV and DDR mat. I use it all the time. They work perfectly together, and it gives the mat room to inevitably slip around on the carpet without pulling the Wii off the shelf, which is what always happens if I don’t use an extension cord. It also matches the Wii well.

  Bought this based on someones review to use with our DDR dance mats and the cords work great. If you play DDR and don’t want cords hanging in front of your TV or to be right up on it then you really gotta get this cord! Love it.

  Despite the rubbery bottom they put on either a dance-pad or the pad that comes with Active Life – Outdoor challenge or Extreme challenge, they seem to always slip or migrate on carpeting. By the time you get a break, you find the mat’s half way gone underneath you. This cord really helps give the mat some leeway and not ‘pull’ the console off the counter after enough use – you get a longer leash to work with.

  Excellent build quality. You’d think it was made by Nintendo. Nothing feels cheap or flimsy, with the connections locking firmly into their perspective locations. Also, this cord is MUCH longer than 10ft! I estimate it at about 15 ft! If you cant find a wavebird (best cordless controller of the past generation and one of the best controllers ever made) this is the next best thing.

  Bought it for my kids to use on a Wii using Gamecube games, this way they don’t need to sit too close to the TV. They don’t like the wireless Gamecube controllers, I tried those and notice the delays myself in response time in the game. With this they can use the wired controller without sitting too close to the TV.
