Very nice and low price but high quality composite cables. Athough I paid about thirteen dollars shipping included, these cables are very relaible and well designed for optimal picture. I have used them for both my old Ps2 and my new xbox 360, and it works great with both of them as if they were branded either Sony or Microsoft. I think you would pretty much get the same picture quality as if you had the roginals for each console. They came home in perfect conditions from amazon.

I got these cables just since they were $9. The ones that arrived were not the same ones advertised, but they are MUCH better.

I got these for my PS3 because they were the cheapest component cables I could find. They’re advertised as being for the PS2, but the PS3 uses the same connector and these cables work just fine. No complaints!

I bought this for a friend, and we successfully used it to connect his Wii, XBOX 360, and PlayStation 2 to the single component input on his HDTV. I assume that it would work for his PS3, but we didn’t try it.
I would both (1) buy this again and (2) recommend it to a friend. The only downside to it is that the lengths of cable given to actually attach the devices to the cable basically force you to have a small pile of consoles to one side of your TV–one foot each just simply isn’t enough.

There’s only one issue with this cable – there’s a little hard-to-see slider button that selects “HD” vs “TV” – for using it to connect a Wii to an HDTV using component connectors, you have to slide it to “HD” before it will output correctly. When on “TV” you just get black-and-white output. There’s no documentation anywhere on the package that tells you about this switch and it blends into the black color very well. That’s the only thing you need to know about this cable – it works for me and it’s nice that it’s half the price of the manufacturer cables!

The Mad Catz Universal HD Component cable works great for my PS2 and Wii (not at the same time). For PS2, Rockband and GH: World Tour look worlds better now on my HD LCD TV. For less than $13, it was definitely worth the money.
Be advised that the cable only works with one console at a time. The packaging states so in the fine print. With both my systems plugged in at the same time, the PS2 works great, but no audio for the Wii.
Remember to: Slide the switch from TV to HDTV, and to optimize your PS2 (turn on your PS2 without a disk).

Terrible documentation. The manufacturer and Amazon completely fail to explain this product is a “universal cable” for use by _one_ _console_ _at_ _a_ _time_ _only_. This cable isn’t made to switch between different game consoles. If that is what you want, you should buy a video switch for composite video signals, which costs $30-$50 or more.
The little slider switch on this cable simply selects the type of TV you have connected to the cable. It affects which video signal wires pass through to the TV. Most of the video and audio wires from _each_ _console_ are joined together at the cable junction, so if you plug more than one console into the cable at one time, you are shorting your electrical signals between those consoles. This could eventually damage at least one of the consoles.
So, with this cable, you pick which console to connect. I have two of these cables for a Wii and a PS2 (one cable each!), and they work flawlessly with my HDTV, after I noticed the slider switch.
