I know that the FIFA games tend to get a little better every year, and I always think to myself,” This year’s installment is great, but…”
Not with FIFA 10.
I’ve only played the manager mode with the team I support the most, AS Roma, but simply from that experience, what a difference in the game play. I liked last year’s addition of an actual referee pointing the flag in the direction of team possession, so of course, that made it back to FIFA 10. New additions to the FIFA game include; a full schedule for your team, including preseason friendlies with teams in your league, and with teams all over Europe; improved player likenesses, including the way indivual players move (Francesco Totti actually moves like Francesco Totti); weather changes to go with day and night games, including rain and snow; in the rain snow games, most of the players on your squad switch to longsleeves, which was a feature missing from the previous FIFAs; it’s easier for defenders to tackle and win possession, which makes the game more difficult but lends to the realistic aspects a real match; and right and left backs can actually push up the sides of the field, which allows them to score and gives more team members besides just your strikers and attacking midfielders a chance on goal.
The only problem I have with the game is the price, and the fact that I’m a full time student without the time to play the game as much as I’d like. Fully recommended to any fans of the previous games. And just think to yourself once you play it…it only gets better from here.

I just got the game a few days ago but things I noticed so far. The game is really fluid and a little faster than 09. Quick free kicks when you get fouled mid field the player will simply pick up the ball place it down and GAME ON GARTH. Getting carded is no longer a cut shot but simply the ref runs up to the player and books him (the camera angle stays the same).
Dribbling is much better you can now absorb contact and push the ball.
Again game speed is much faster so you don’t have to use turbo all the time and burn out your players come 2nd half. Shooting from distance now works in 09 and previous years the only to score was on a breakaway or 10 feet from the goalie (Gerrard Lampard we doing work this year)
Let me stop rambling. Fifa 10 is a great game alot of people would say PES. I was one of those guys but Fifa 09 really put the ball in their court and 10 just improves off last years game.
Madden junkies that want to play a sports game where it doesn’t take an hour to play a game pick up Fifa you can probably get about 4-5 matches out in the same time it takes to play a madden game online.

There are many more detailed reviews out there so I will keep this brief.
Thank you EA for addressing the excessive off-side penalties, and the ’360′ control while not as revolutionary as touted does add a lot to the game.
The new tournament and lounge modes are great, and this is one of the best sports games I’ve played, period. If you like futbol this game is a no-brainer.
I have the 360 version and my neighbor the PS3, (I also have the PS3 version of 2009) and as always I have to recommend the 360 version. I can’t tell a difference in the graphics, but the 360 version boots and loads much faster, the controller is 2x better (I have bigger hands) and I don’t have to download annoying updates every week.

I play Fifa series since the 2008 version and it`s incredible how impressed I feel each time EA brings a new version. Fifa 2010 is still more realistic than the olders and will ensure several times of fun. An improvement in intelligence and graphics can be felt when you see the goalkeepers, defenders or stylish kicks and dribbles.
Get it with no afraid and enjoy your choice.

From the 360 angles of dribbling and passing, this game truly allows you to gain full control of the game. The be a pro and club play is a lot better than FIFA 09, allowing you to play with your own player and build them up and take your player on the pitch.

This may have put EA Sports over the top. Game play is as close to what football can ever be on a console. The features get better and better everytime I play a game. 2011 will be hard pressed to top all of the outstanding features packed into 2010. The only thing better would be to play the game with a real life footballer. Wanye Rooney for FIFA President!

I decide to buy PES 10 first and enjoyed the game but got bored with it after a couple of months and traded it in for FIFA 10.
Wow is is by far the best soccer game I have ever played and I’ve been playing soccer game for over 20 years Matchday for the 48k spectrum being my first.
The game play is so realistic, and strength of the players is spot on, PES 10 has matched the player looks better than FIFA but they are still good.
The only problem I found with FIFA is the fact I have been fired by my club a few times so far I like a challange when plying soccer games and when I set the difficulty so I get a challange the board sack me for not winning most of my games which you would expect but it is fustrating.
Overall a great game!

If you’re looking for ease, FIFA 10 will not give it to you. They have figured out how to make a hard game even harder. However, that only draws you in deeper as your life will become FIFA. If you love soccer/football/whatever you want to call it and you don’t already have this game, you are only cheating yourself out of a 10 out of 10 game. The only thing better is a real game of soccer.

I’ve had this game for a month now and I think EA has improved in every corner. In addition to the excellent commentators (Martin Tylor and Andy Gray, the opponents are not easy to beat (which ironically makes it even more exciting), the stadiums are nice, and lots of real-life techniques for users too. Unlike previous editions, FIFA has really made goal-scoring more realistic and more challenging. One recommendation, though, the players’ face could be more real-life-like. Highly Recommended, though i haven’t tried PES 2010 yet.
