I finally got my component cable and Zelda looks amazing in 480P. This is a must have for all Wii owners with a TV that supports 480P.

I must say, if you own a Plasma or LCD with at least 42″ size, you should buy this product, you woudn’t beleive the difference it makes, the colors look more real, the rendered images look very crisp and sharp, just remember to change from 480i to 480p in you Wii configuration, enjoy!

What a “Great” cable to have and a must need if you have a HDTV and a Wii
system. Makes the games look so much better and brighter. Again, IT’S A
MUST TO HAVE, and for what I paid for it, it was a steal.

Since the Wii does not support high definition, this cable will not really help you get a better picture. Contrast ratios may be a bit better so your blacks are blacker but that is about it. However, depending on your other equipment, for cable management purposes this may be just for you. With my A/V receiver, what type of video you put in is the type that comes out. Therefore when I have my computer output that is component going to my receiver then to my TV, I only need to change the receiver channel to swap over to the Wii instead of also having to change the TV too. For this convience, it was worth the 7 dollars.

I have my Wii connected to a 52″ 1080P LCD TV. Although the Wii does not put out an actual HD signal, The picture quality with this cord is very good.

Big difference in games with a lot of small fonts like Tiger Woods 2008. When I first got Tiger Woods 2008 I was using the SD cable that comes standard with the Wii and the type was very difficult to read. After I got the HD cable the type was ALOT easier to read. I could not see much difference graphically but it did make it a lot easier to read.

I had a pair of Monster Wii cables before my dog chewed through them. I decided to give these inexpensive cables a try and they delivered the EXACT same picture on my LCD HDTV. There was NO DIFFERENCE between the two. Save some cash and get these. I highly recommend them.

I have purchased two Wii component cables over the last three months. The other one cost me $15 and worked perfectly. This one is light gray rather than white, but works just as flawlessly. Image is 480p, which is standard for Wii “HD”. If you don’t care what color your cable is, then this is the one to get. Connectors fit firmly and don’t feel cheap, signal quality is great. What more could you want from a cable?

The title says it all, Why pay more for the “official” component cables from nintendo when you can get the same quality for a cheaper price?

The product works, construction quality is good, and it was much cheaper than the Nintendo cables and accomplishes the same job. For those who were expecting true HD quality, stop giving this product bad reviews because of it – The Wii was never designed to output anything more than 480p, so you have Nintendo to blame for the very minor performance increase offered by this product. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, and does it well.
