I had the Holiday edition base game originally and bought this for the extra stuff. I think it was worth it for not only the extra items, but also for the improvements Maxis made to some of the existing ones in the Holiday base game.

I also think that there is more than 20 extra items over the 40 the holiday base game had. I haven’t actually counted them all, but with all of the new clothing, new decorating items (plants, wall hangings, knick-knacks, etc), and outdoor stuff both in buy and build mode, I’m pretty sure it exceeds 60. Maybe I’m wrong but it seems like a lot of new stuff!! All in all, I’m well pleased with what I got for the amount I spent. I didn’t pre-order this one though, I waited until the price dropped a few dollars since it is a ‘stuff pack’ and not an expansion.

And for those of you who didn’t have the Holiday edition base game and aren’t already aware of this, don’t forget to put out your new cornucopia in your kitchen, light your tree, make a holiday roast, and serve up some Santa cookies…you never know, Santa might just show up and leave your Sim some gifts

Unless you have plenty of spare time, DO NOT play The Sims 2! It is WAY too addictive, and it just gets worse with each expansion pack!!

This, combined with the new “Seasons” expansion pack, will let your sims have the white Christmas they have always wanted!

I love this game because there is so much Christmas stuff but there is also halloween and Hannukah and stuff! I love when Santa comes and stuff! I’m glad I found this it is one of the best stuff packs!

We just bought the Sims 2 for the pc and I thought this would be fun to add on. My boys love it so much. They like to decorate the Sims house for Christmas all the time not just at the holidays!

The only problem is that the serial number was no where on the disc, the booklet nor the box. That is the first time that has ever happened. I could not register the game without that number. I looked everywhere, several times, and it was no where to be found…which leads me to believe that this was not a legitimate product.

THIS IS A FUN EXPANSION PACK. YOUR SIMS CAN PUT UP CHRISTMAS LIGHTS AND CHRISTMAS TREES. THEY CAN DECORATE THEIR HOUSES FOR THE HOLIDAYS. I JUST WISH THE SIMS COULD SING SOME CHRISTMAS CAROLS IN THEIR SIMLISH LANGUAGE. THAT WOULD BE FUN TO LISTEN TO. LOTS OF FUN WITH THIS ONE!

I recently renewed my addiction to Sims 2, and purchased this expansion pack, unsure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with some of the cute objects included. Granted, I agree its a tad expensive, but the objects are cute, and I love the new wallpaper, rugs, and lights. My sims 2 family house is now quite festive in red and green rugs and wallpaper.

I purchased this used, and found it ran and installed well. 4 stars.
