I love Ancient of the 7 Worlds DS that I had to get more!! I found Jewel Quest DS but I was told by some gamers that I should get The Quest Trio instead that way I can get 3 games in one cartridge. Good advice!
If you like 7 Worlds DS you will like Jewel Quest. Very similar with matching the tiles and making sure you fill in the background to complete the levels.
I got this game mainly for the Jewel Quest. I tried the solitare & Mah Jong games as well and it was fun. It’s great for down times.
Can’t go wrong with this one!

I am a first time gamer and have tried all three games as soon as I got it out of the box. I enjoyed playing all three. I like the graphics and the story line that helps you to learn how to play. The only adjustment so far, is getting used to the smaller tiles and pictures. Used to playing on a large computer screen. If you like Mahjongg types games, I think you will like this one. You get three games for the price of one.The Quest Trio

This is fun! Mahjong was hard but the other 2 are addicting! The story is a little hinky but I just skim through it!

Quest Trio is three games (hence the trio) in one. Jewel Quest is a modified version of Bejeweled where you have to swap jewels to get three or more of one kind in a row. This is timed and definitely gets harder and more challenging.
In Jewel Quest Solitaire you have to eliminate cards by placing one higher or one lower than the card on the discard pile. The key is to look for series that you can carry on for awhile and get rid of the most cards. This also has many levels that get harder and harder (more cards are stacked in a “locked” pile or a pile with one card to eliminate on top before you can access all the others behind it.
The last game is Mahjong, traditional but with some twists. You can play this by just doing the standard Mahjong game, by only showing available matches (the other tiles are blank so it is harder to plan ahead) or by only revealing tiles that you turn over – almost like a memory game.
Additionally, there are three ways to play Mahjong boards – classic, on a quest, and boards with custom tiles.
This game holds your attention for a long time and is a great way to destress and work your brain a little.
I would highly recommend this game if you like puzzles and board games.

The game is very good and addictive. With all three games you can go from game to game. I’ve had this game for a day still like it. The variety is good. If you like puzzle games, this is for you. The solitaire is similiar to tri-peaks solitaire. This is good for all those addicted to mahjong. I like being able to use the touch screen for games like this. It makes it a little easier than with a mouse like the online games. You can make quicker matches.

We purchased this product as a Christmas gift in December 2008 and it has already given us many hours of enjoyment. It is very simple to use but is a great version of the classic games.

Being a senior, not many of the DS games seem age appropriate. Quest Trio is fun for all ages. I am addicted to one game int the trio, Jewel Quest II. In Jewel Quest II you match 3 or more jewels of the same color. In doing so, the background changes color. When the entire background has changed color, that part of the game is complete. On some of the screens, some of the jewels are shaded and you can’t see what color they are until they are matched. The other two games within The Quest trio look like fun also, but I spend so much time playing Jewel Quest II, that I haven’t really had time to play them.

I have never been into the handheld games, but my kids have them. I play a game like this on my cell phone and decided to take the plunge. My husband got me a ds for Christmas and this game. I love this game. It is so much fun. We took a 6 hour road trip and time just flew by while I was playing this game. My son (age 7)and I play this while sitting in the woods in a stand watching for deer, quail, rabbits, wildlife. It makes time fly by. I would recommend this for any age.
