XBOX 360 FIFA Soccer 09FIFA Soccer 09 X360$24.99http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51rE-hIaeFL._SL160_.jpg
I’m not really much of a soccer fan, though I will watch during the World Cup or European Championship tournaments and an occassional MLS game. I picked up this game on a whim, and I was pleasantly surprised. Let’s just say that since I’ve started playing, I haven’t put Madden 09 back in my 360.
The controls are pretty straightforward and easy to learn. Soccer strategy was a complete mystery to me before I started playing, but after a few games I was competitive and now can consistently score a few goals a game on the hardest difficulty.
The graphics are pretty good, considering the massive environment that is a soccer field. Close-up reaction shots and celebrations are pretty realistic.
The game certainly has no shortage of teams, that’s for sure. There are well over a hundred different teams from dozens of leagues from around the world with complete, accurate rosters.
I wish that there were more stadiums, however. You find yourself playing the same generic few again and again, though they do try to change it up by having different weather conditions and times of day available. I realize that they couldn’t have had all of the hundreds of distinct stadiums, but a few more would have been nice.
I can’t compare it to any other soccer games, since I’ve never played any, but if you’re looking for an enjoyable, detailed, fun game, FIFA 2009 is a good choice.
I have been a fan of Konami PES games since like 99 or so back then it was known as winning eleven to most soccer gaming fans all over the world. I used to also purchase fifa and they did make some succesful attempts like fifa 99 and the most of world cup games. Honestly, ever since like 2004 i had given up on fifa. The intelligence was not there, players weren’t moving while u are attacking and it was way too easy to score goals for me. This year, I read many reviews about the new Fifa and I said to myself, PES is the way to go and i went out and purchased PES again. Pes was fun at first but the glitches and the lack of leagues and online options started to bore me soooooo I GOT the new FIFA YESTERDAY!
WHAT A GAME!
1. The Graphics are beyond real. No glitches, no skips!
2. The game has everything that PES has. This includes being able to run around freely, pass however u like and shoot the ball precisely to a direction that u desire.
3. Its hard to score when u are face to face with the goalkeeper, whereas in PES the goalie just stands there and looks at u when u are trying to score a goal against him.
4.Many online and cup options
5. So many different leagues and real player names as well as a great commentary!
6.The buttons are the same as PES!! Makes it easier to get adjusted to the game
I can honestly say that Fifa is PES plus a lot more. For the first time in 10 years I am selling my PES before my Fifa.. There is no reason for any PES fan to not like this game. The buttons are the same, the graphics better, squad names are newer( Berbatov is in MANU), price is the same as PES, you can update player names and skills. EVERYTHING is much better.
I would highly recommend this game to any soccer fan. It is worth the money.
Nba2k9 sucked, live sucked, madden was weak. Fifa is the lone beckon of EA right now of games that you can actually stay interested in. Look at all the reviews of 360 sports games and fifa is the highest for the year. Of the people who ranked this game a 1 star, one said the resolution sucked, and the other said the games menu sucked? The other two are crazy. I can play this game for hours. Yes there can be improvements on the difficulty of scoring on 1 on 1s but other than that the game is money. Lets put it this way it is the only 09 game I can never find in used game stores and I have looked for 3 days straight.
This Product exceeds the average soccer fans, it not only takes you to a live experience, but it also makes you live the game, paired with a surround system, you can have the stadium in your home …
The last two releases of FIFA have been great. Both “Be a Pro” and “Manager Mode” are not perfect but they come close to it. The graphics are great, the gameplay is great. A must buy for all soccer fans!
This game is superb; a vast improvement over last year’s title. Trust the other reviews, the graphics in this game are ridiculously good. I won’t go too much into gameplay improvements, but the EA folks took their time on this one and did it right, it’s clearly noticeable.
This game is great. It has all the right players. The player custimization is great you can make them look like anyone. There are over 100 sorts of cleats and many different balls. You can play different sorts of game modes. It has very good graphics and not Laggy at all. When you score you can do a lot of celebrations. You can play multiplayer which is very fun. You can do lots of dukes and tricks. You can juggle and do around the world. Your players can get injured, sprint, walk, jog, get hurt, be carded, and be offsides.
This game has a high replay value. I personally love it and it is one of the only games I play.
Great for any soccer fan, or just someone who like video games.

The video is really amazing. I bought it as a gift for my nephew and we find the whole family sitting down to play.
