Absolutely love this workout with the wii. I have lost 1 inch off my waist and 1 inch off my hips since I started using it. I would recommend this to anyone. I have wii active also but I like this more for convenience because you can use equipment that you normally use instead of extra stuff to buy to use it.

I couldnt give it a 5 for fun because I dont really consider work fun. But it does give you a work out better then anyother Wii game I have tried. Or anything else for that matter. If you stick with it and do it right you will definitely see results! Some of the moves can be tricky when you first start and you can get frustrated because it tells you, your doing it wrong. Don’t worry once you get more familiar with the game and can do them better you wont have that problem anymore so keep working with it.

Now, I used to classify myself as a fitness junkie. I would eat healthy, go to the gym on a regular basis, and even go running. However, with work, running errands and general “craziness” of life, I did lose sight of this goal a bit. However, I have to hand it to “Your Shape”, a game that’s really got me excited about becoming fit again!
Let’s face it – becoming “too busy” to exercise happens to everyone. What I really like about “Your Shape” is that it customizes your workouts to fit them to your schedule. Some people complained that the encouragements from Jenny McCarthy were unneeded, but I actually found them kind of motivating. I don’t have the extra money for a personal trainer right now, which is why I think this game really appeals to me.
I also really like the targeted exercises. Some days when I feel particularly “fat” around the middle, I can do some targeted core training that will help tone and shape my abs. If I’m looking for some relaxing Yoga on a Sunday morning, “Your Shape” can deliver this as well! Overall, I found it verstatile, customizable and pretty much exactly what I’d want out of a fitness game.
I actually read over a lot of the reviews, and saw that a lot of people were complaining that this game was “exactly like (insert fitness game here)”. What I found is that Your Shape took all of the BEST features of other fitness games, tied them up in a user-friendly interface, and added a super-sensitive motion camera to boot! As a fitness game, I’d have to say that this is the most successful in appealing to time-constrained people (like me) who need extra motivation to get into shape. I highly recommend this game.

I just got Your Shape for the PC a couple of days ago. You do need a lot of space for this game. Ubisoft recommends 8-10 feet. I have a laptop, so I can move around if I need to. If you have a computer, it would be harded. Your clothes should stand out from your background otherwise the camera may not recognize you. You do have to do exactly what Jenny Mccarthy does on the game otherwise it will tell you to watch your arms, legs, or just to keep moving. I was waiting for a review but since I couldn’t find a review, I bought it to try it. The only place that I could find it at a store was at BestBuy. Amazon, Target, and BestBuy.com has Your Shape for the PC online. I would recommend this product.

Since I love My Fitness Coach I was really excited about Your Shape, and I pre-ordered it in August. Amazon’s price lock feature saved me about $[...]!!!
About the game, I was worried after reading other reviews (I didn’t open the game until recently) but I do not regret opening it, I love it.
During setup, I made sure I followed other reviewers recommendations such as using clothes with colors that contrast my environment (this is EXTREMELY important), and I also made sure that the camera sees my whole body, even when I lift my arms or I move around to perform the exercises. So, take your time and position the camera in different ways until you find what’s most comfortable for you and allows you to take the most out of your space.
I love the game, the camera recognizes my movements just fine. It’s true that it’s very similar to My Fitness Coach, but if you like that game, that’s exactly why you should get Your Shape; it has all MFC amazing features plus what the camera adds and some other improvements such as detail in areas to work out, what you want to accomplish (burn/strenght, etc.), actual calendar and not just days of the week, etc. I love being able to see myself on the screen, and correct my movements and position and receive feedback like if I had a real coach in front of me. MFC could not do that.
The game is amazing, and I can tell (and feel) that the workouts really work. Other games are easy to trick; this one forces me to do it well and to not stop. I have wii fit and EA Sports Active, too. Your Shape is my favorite. The other ones are fine, but after a while they’re boring due to its limited routines, exercises, etc. Your Shape is never boring, the workout is always challenging and different; and once the setup is correct, it’s impossible to trick.

I actually own most of the fitness games that are available, including Yourself Fitness! (which I really liked when it was the first of its kind).
This game is a step above that game. I believe it gives me a more accurate account of calories burned. For me the camera set up was very easy. I had no problems with the overall function of the camera. Yes there are moments in which it was a little behind, but as long as I was watching the trainer and following the beat it did register my movement as good. If you try to watch yourself then that is when it will be off (due to the fact that you are not on cue with the trainer). My home has a big living space and a big TV in the living area. Good amount of windows and lighting. I made sure to wear black since most of my decor was more neutral colors. I believe the contrast helps with the success of the camera.
The game’s exercise format was similar to Yourself Fitness! (My Fitness Coach). The positive was that it included a better cool down than the original. I have to agree that you cannot choose the music like you did with Yourself Fitness. But I liked the music better since there are actual words to them too. There are always room for improvements and addition to any fitness game. But I was very happy and overall impressed with this game compared to a lot of others out there. I had a good workout the first day.

This is a good video work-out. Each work-out begins with three minutes of areobic warm ups, then Jenny will lead you through exercizes designed to work a specific part of you that you chose at the beginning of the session. You can also choose to do areobic or strength training at the start of your session. I have had this product for about 6 weeks and play it about 4 or 5 times a week. I know that my at rest pulse is lower and I feel over all stronger/better.
The only negative that I see with this product is that at times I feel like Jenny starts saying I’m doing the exercise wrong, but really I am doing exactly what she is. This only happens a little bit though, and I just ignore her and keep doing my best. This one problem with the game only changes the overall percent rating for my workout a few percentage points so it is really irrellavent.
Most importantly Jenny has a product that challenges me, is fun, and exercises my whole body so I would recommend this product.

Easy to set up..I was playing within 10 minutes. Although I’m not a fan of watching myself workout on TV…it was still really cool because I could see if I was doing the exercise correctly. If it gets me off the couch…it’s worth the money!

I have been using the wii “Your Shape” game 3 to 4 times a week since receiving it about 3 weeks ago & have started to feel & see results already! It’s not an easy exercise routine but a lot of fun. It pushes you more than other exercise videos I’ve used; I’m sure that’s why I’m seeing a reduction in size already. I’ve been using various exercise videos for at least 20 years & this has been the most impressive. I would highly recommend it to someone that is willing to push themselves a bit. If you dedicate yourself, you’ll be pleasantly pleased.
