My son is a fan of Sonic, so this latest adventure was a must-have item. The graphics are awesome, the plot line fantastic… old friends appear in new guises, and our favorite blue hedgehog gets to save the day for both King Arthur and Camelot! Well worth the price of admission.
Sonic and the black night was so easy to beat.I beat all the levels and i like the story lines. I think its better than sonic and the secret rings. And i love the idea that he plays a knight.Shadow and knuckles was also cool in the game.Amy looks pretty in the dress and i reccomend it.LOVE THE GAME
This game rocks. The story is good, the controls are good, and the graphics and soundtrack rock. Also when doing the missions the game doesnt have high expectations to get top ranking in a level like most sonic games do. If you like sonic, pic this game up for a treat.
This game is the best game I ever played! Ignore those stupid reviews saying ”Dont play this” or ”Not worth money” because it is your opinion!!! You wont regret buying it! I loved multiplayer mode. Theres a big variaty of playable characters. What else is there to say?!?
This game is one of the best Sonic games out there. Where Sonic weilds a sword, it is a nice addition to the Sonic series. Think of it as playing a Sonic game, with the same controls to control your sword as The Legend of Zelda twilight princess for the Wii. It has a great story and great graphics. I would highly recomend this to any Sonic fan out there.
This game is awesome. You use a sword, which is actually fun. The Blacksmith can make new swords, and you can have sword fights in multiplayer. Plus, after you beat the King, you can use Gawain(Knuckles), Lancelot(Shadow), and
Percival(Blaze) on certain levels. There are lots of side missions, and you can get people to follow you(wave at you when you play) by doing well and giving poor people rings. However, the main story is easy(about 5 hours for me) but getting all the bonus and multiplayer characters will take a while. Awesome game!
Don’t listen to the critics; they are wrong on this Sonic game. In all honesty, this game is much better than I originally thought. After the failure that was Secret Rings, I honestly thought that Black Knight wasn’t going to be much better. After its release, I decided to go and see how bad the game was, and was shocked to see how much better it was than Secret Rings. Better voice acting (Not that I actually care about voice acting), better gameplay, better controls, and just about better in every other area that Secret Rings failed in. Black Knight also has some amazing music; up there with the Sonic Adventure series music. And being one of those people who actually enjoy the storybook like cutscenes, I was impressed with the graphics, and the 3D ones weren’t half bad either.
However, despite the game’s amazing plot twist that no one was expecting, the game is too short. I got through it in a couple of hours, despite many deaths along the way. I also did not like Caliburn yelling at me through the Wii remote whenever I would accidentally hit a townsperson.
This is a great game, but it’s going to be a while before Sonic can get back to where he was before Shadow the Hedgehog and 06 came into our lives.
I have not had this game for very long, but so far I am enjoying it very much. They have made vast improvements over the Sonic and the Secret Rings game, and the sword is a pretty neat addition. You can actually from side to side in this game, somewhat, unlike the last storybook sonic game.
If I had to complain about anything, I would have to say mainly it seems simple. Sonic does not move as fast as he does in Sonic Unleashed, but I guess that’s because this game was more focused on being able to use a sword. If you could blast past and through everything, then the sword would be just about useless. Maybe it just seems simple because I have played just about every sonic game made.
Also some may like to know that it seems Blaze, Shadow, and Knuckles are somehow involved in the story line, or maybe just characters that resemble them. I have not gotten far enough through the game to see what happens with them though. There also is multiplayer battle modes, but I have not tried them yet either.
Anyway I give this a thumbs up over Sonic and the Secret Rings and recommend giving it a shot.
This is the first Sonic game my 8 year old son gets. He loves everything about this title and has quickly become his all time favorite Wii game. The story is great, there’s plenty of adventure, the action is superb, the music is beautiful, the graphics are just AWESOME! Best graphics I’ve seen in a Wii game. The controls are uncomplicated, thus my kid could master the gameplay quickly. As a father, I like the fact that this game introduces kids to King Arthur’s story. And the price is right, too!
Can’t wait for the next title in the Sonic saga. In the meantime, I’m getting Sonic and the Secrets Rings this weekend. Kudos to the publisher and programmers from a happy father. 10/10 stars.

Looked all over for this game, most Game Stops had a used version and one didn’t work. The price was
very reasonable and shipping was extremely fast. Glad I shopped on Amazon.
