I bought this game in a store and I thought it would be okay. But when I started playing it, it was way better than I thought it would be. I only wish it could be a little longer and harder, but overall it was a really good game. I would recomend it if you think about buying it.

I went to a local store recently to look for a game to get for my 4.5 year old daughter to play. I wasnt looking to spend a lot of money, I was looking at a few games in the $40-$50 range, but I came across this game and saw it was $20 and thought okay its worth a try, it looks sort of cute, and if its not great, I am only out $20 and not $40 or $50.
We got it home and lets just say my daughter cant get enough of it, nor can I. It has a very cute plot, great story, lovable characters, and its challenging enough for my daughter without, for the most part being too challenging. Some boss pirates she is a little intimidated with trying to eat, and I happily help her with it, but the more we play it, she observers what I do and right now as I write this, she is playing it again, and attacking a lot of the boss pirates she would not even attempt to attack and doing a great job. None of the scenes are so hard that you get too frustrated like you wont be able to do it, with a slight exception for the final battle. Getting to the final battle is harder than actually beating the final boss pirate. The graphics are very nice, the music is very cute, not obnoxious, there is not a single thing about this game that I can fault. Out the few games that I have bought my daughter I will say this is definitely one of hers, and my favorites. I was not surprised to see such high reviews on here for this game and wanted to give it another great review.

This game is so much better than I thought it would be, I’m amazed. Me and my sisters have been playing this game nonstop since Christmas, and it’s fun enough to maintain your interest. The characters are cute, and the music is awesome. I also think mirror mode was a very nice addition to the game.
However, there is one thing that I hold against this game. This game has NO multiplayer mode, which I thought was very disappointing. This game would have been perfect for multiplayer. A second player can assist you by using a second Wii remote, but that causes you to lose points, so I would not reccomend doing that.
But besides that, this is a wonderful game for children and adults alike. It’s not challenging, but not too easy.

My 4 year old son has really enjoyed playing this game. It has been attitude changing for him to even talk about “eating” vegetables in a positive light. It is also nice for Mom to play after a stressful day of work. Sort of a “veg” out and have fun game. Each level gets harder and a little more aggressive but it is fun every step of the way.

I bought this game for my 4 year old and he loves it! It is easy for him to play on his own and he never gets bored with it. It’s fun for adults too! I wish the two player was set up a little differently, but that is my only complaint. Great game for kids of any age!

I was hooked on this game after the first level. You are either a cute pink puff munchable or a tough scaly munchable (or a robot one after you beat the game
as you go through 8 different worlds (2 stages and a boss for each) completing certain tasks like getting to the end, eating all of a certain boss, and more. There are so many different food enemies to eat (150 with little bios to read ^-^). The gameplay is just so imaginative, you eat like crazy and get to huge sizes. If you arent big enough to eat your opponent, you smack into them to break them up and then eat them. I wish there were more levels, it just went by so fast! The story and the way it presents it is ok for this sort of game and the music is great and catchy for each level. I love how you can customize your munchable with a little accesory if your good at collecting all the acorns on each level. The Munchables is definately worth it, I really hope there will be a sequel!

The wacky humor (Broco-Lee), varied level designs (underwater, pastry factory, space station, etc.), a cardboard cut out look and odd concept (Come on, what other game has you saving the world by eating evil vegetables while collecting magical poo?) of The Munchables add up to one of the most fun gaming experiences I’ve had in some time.
This is classic 3D platforming done in a way to appeal to gamers as young as 5 or as old as time. Yes the control is simple and more experienced gamers won’t be exceptionally challenged by the gameplay but few other games will get you laughing or feeling as good as The Munchables does. The biggest challenge comes from figuring out how to beat some of the bosses which can take some trial and error.
In the main game you earn bonus items to decorate your character with (3D glasses, pirate hats, etc.) by collecting acorns. Once the game is beaten, you earn a radar upgrade that points out acorns you missed on your first go round. This is a feature more platform games should incorporate. Another feature that opens once the main story has been completed is Mirror Mode which has you go through each level in reverse under a time constraint which is actually pretty tough to complete in later levels.
Bottom line, don’t dismiss The Munchables. It may look easy and childish (perhaps it even is), but by not playing The Munchables you miss out on a uniquely fun experience that you’ll remember long after the controller is put down.

I’ve never been a huge gamer, but I do like to play Wii with my 6-year-old son from time to time. For Christmas I got him this game and a few others. We have had an absolute blast playing this game together. The second player doesn’t do too much but help a little bit, so we took turns, especially if we got to a frustrating part. This is the first game I have ever played all the way to the end and we have been enjoying mirror mode as well. The other reviewers did an excellent job explaining the game. I love its quirkiness, great music, the fact that it isn’t so hard that it is too frustrating and and not so easy that it loses its appeal quickly. There is a good balance between ease and challenge, especially for an inexperienced gamer like me. I thought it was kind of like 3-D pac man with veggies. Tons of fun for the fam!

We rented this Wii game and within a few minutes, my 5-yr old daughter was having so much fun, we knew we had to buy it. You can pick your character, and as you munch on moving veggies and other things, your character gets bigger and bigger. The music is hip too. It’s good fun, and I highly recommend it to anyone with kids.
