This game was just awesome, getting all of the achievements took a lot of time, but that is what I look for in a good game. This game builds on all the good things its predecessor had. Not everyone will love this game, but if Survival Horror [ie. Gears/Fear] and intriguing stories are what you crave, Bloodshot is right down your alley.
I know that no matter what I type I will probably get bombarded with comments like, “You know nothing about gaming”! And this and that so if that’s what you want to say you’re right I know nothing about gaming. It’s not my life and it’s not what I typically do so I apologize in advance but I love this game!! I’m sorry but any game where you can drink Jager and then beat someone to death with a toilet seat sounds like fun to me! I haven’t noticed audio problems or any of that but once again what do I know? I love the game play it seems solid I never played the first game but the story line to me (which seems important to most gamers) seems to be interesting, well thought out and acted. In my personal opinion I think if you took this games mechanics and mixed it with the stealth aspect of Man Hunt you would have one of the greatest video games the horror genre has ever seen.
This is an awesome, awesome, game!!!! I love this game, It scared the crap out of me!!! The graphics are really realistic. The game is really awesome (i can’t stop using that word). It’s a Must buy. That’s how good it is!!!!! You’ll be crazy to pass this game up. Try not to play it really late at night though. Will scare you to death!!
I was skeptical about this game after playing the demo, seemed too much like Resident Evil or Silent Hill. But after seeing so many good reviews I bought it and I am not dissapointed. This is the first game I’ve played in awhile that actually made me litterally jump out of my seat quite a few times. Great story line, amazing graphics, the voice acting is also done quite well. Many extras to unlock so even after beating the game once, you’ll want to defeat it many times. Overall, I loved this game. Hope they make another one soon. I’ll be playing this game over and over again. Buy it!
This game has alot of action, pretty much everything is interactive and is one of the creepiest games I’ve ever played. If your a fan of games that will scare the crap out of you and make you want to turn the lights off and the close the curtains to scare you even more, this is your game. Be advised playing this game during a thunder storm at night may cause you to mess your pants.
First off, let me say that I enjoyed the first game. It was scary, had interesting characters, and overall a decent story line. This game though is by far better in every way. The new fighting style (combos, finishing moves, ect.) are awesome and leave you feeling more confident to face the hordes of twisted villains that are in the game. Also the variety of bad guys in this game is awesome too. The story is compelling and the graphics are amazing. The addition of FPS after you beat the game adds a new twist to make the game replayable as well. (FPS mode gives you a firearm from the start with unlimited ammo but with tougher enemies.) I haven’t tried the multiplayer, but if it’s as well thought out and developed as the campaign, I’m sure it will be great. The achievements are also fun to try and get. If your on the fence, give it a go. Well worth the money. If you haven’t played the first one, get this one! It’s better in every way…
If you like Condemned: Criminal Origins, then you will like this one too. Bloodshot has the same errie and unsettling environments, and spooky special effects to compliment the mood.
The story in Bloodshot is directly related to where Criminal Origins left off. Bloodshot develeops Ethan Thomas even more so, and we learn about his past, and his relationship with Malcom.
The fighting mechanics are vastly improved. now there are stage fatalities, combos, and slow motion fist fights that let you see every bone being broken. Another improvement in the mechanics is that you control each fist seperatly, and you can carry multiple items. but the last one is one of the many upgrades you can now earn, depending on how well you do in each stage.
i highly recomand this series to anyone who enjoys the horror genre games.
How can this game be only 20 dollars new? This is the greatest game ever made! WTF. This is completely ridiculous. And what else I don’t get is how the “official” reviews are mediocre at beast. 7s and 8s? REALLY?
Talk about having no clue. The average critic clearly has no idea how to recognize greatness. This game is a PERFECT 10. Period. Buy it now!
Every complaint I had about the first Condemned has been addressed on the second release. Great controls and game play. Graphics are good and the sound is incredible, very creepy and sets a mood for the game that keeps you on edge of your seat. Definetly check this game out.
visceral fighting and great story continues from the original game. this time the framerate is perfectly solid throughout the entire game, and the MULTIPLAYER IS SICK! as of 9/19/08 a lot of people still play online. while theyre is noob mode deathmatch / team dm, CSI mode is really strategic and fun for experienced players and never gets old. get this game!
