Bought as a Xmas gift. Price was great!!! This is a competitive game that is really fun for all ages. This game has events that real lumberjacks compete in – hours of enjoyment for everyone.

I actually bought this game because in the past months I had actually wondered what a pro lumberjack competition is like. I saw one at Sea World when I was a kid and I am fascinated by the out of the ordinary. So, I bought partially for the novelty, partially for the great price of only $30, and also, I figured there would probably be some good exercise. I was right on all accounts and this ended up far exceeding the novelty expectations and ended up being, well…a hoot.

It really does a great job of creating an environment where you feel like you’re at a county fair or somewhere deep in the South or backwoods. The games are quick and there is plenty of variety to keep it interesting, and you use arm motions and your feet, so some of the competitions actually left me winded. I felt like I was getting as much exercise as my Wii Fit but this was so much fun it didn’t feel like exercise, it felt more like I was competing. I got so into it I raised my hands in victory a couple times when I dusted the competition.

I am not a huge game person and I only intended to play this for about 10 minutes to try it out and ended up playing it for an hour and wishing I could have played it for longer. This would definitely be fun to play against other people but a lot of fun, also, by yourself. And you also have the option of playing it without a balance board if you don’t have one. It gives you instructions of how to use just the remote or the remote with the balance board.

I am curious about the GoPlay Circus game now, though, that seems like it might be more balance and less movement, which I like more of in a game than just mashing buttons. I also hope they create more of these environmental type games where you actually feel like your in a different world, culture, or environment. It’s kinda fun to feel like you’re slipping into the life of someone in another part of the country.

I bought this for my 6 year old grandson. He can’t stop playing it. I have played it myself and it is fun. I highly recommend this game

This game is so much fun to play. It is very simple, but there are a lot of different activities and some even get your heart racing!! (Such as the climb and cut.) I got 3 wii games for Christmas, this was the most inexpensive one by $20 and is by and far my favorite. It is fun to play alone, but even more fun against other people. You can use your wii balance board if you want, but I don’t find it necessary.

I would recommend this as a fun, yet simple game for the whole family. There are directions on every game screen so you can always reference them.

I bought this game on a whim, and was totally surprised at how much fun the game is. We have fun playing two-player, and the action can be quite hillarious.

There are several things I like about this game:

    (A) Getting into a game (or a tournament of games) is trivially easy, and unlike many other similar games, they don’t make you wait for ever, nor do you have to navigate through a bunch of lame, tedious filler to get to the core of the fun.

    (B) The games are fun. They are not earth-shattering, nor even unique. Some involve aiming, some timing, some about pressing button sequences quickly, some about how quickly you can jostle the controller. But the games are varied and fun, especially in competition with others. You can “free play” through the games, you can choose from small, medium or large tournaments (the large cycles through all of the available games).

    (C) You can choose between 3 skill levels. All of the games are inherently 4 player, so the computer plays the empty slots, and the computer’s competence is determined by the skill level you chose. While most of the games themselves are the same at the different skill settings (the computer players just get better), a few of the games get intrinsically harder based on the skill setting. I’m a hard-core, old-school arcade gamer, so I can still beat the computer in most of the games on the the hard level, only one or two are crazy-difficult on the hard skill level, while the easiest level lets everyone enjoy the game.

A fun, satisfying family game, especially for the money.

This game is freaking hilarious!! We bought it and started playing…4 hours later we finally forced ourselves to stop. You saw logs, chop logs, throw axes, do water log rolling, and tree climbing! It is a blast and provides great entertainment watching everyone act like a lumberjack! I HIGHLY recommend this game…it was worth every penny!

The game is fun and entertaining. It has multiple levels of play and plenty of categories. It has been great to play with a group of people. Its really easy to get into it and just adds to the entertainment.

I was looking for a game that my 4 year old grandson could play that didn’t involve super skills or killing people. Lumberjack fits the bill and he loves it. Since he has 4 year old reading skills I needed to play as well to get him started but it wasn’t long before he didn’t need much help. I found it to be great fun to play, too! If you are a true “gamer”, as they say, and are looking for a real challenge this game is probably not going to satisfy you but if you are looking for just plain fun then this game will fit the bill nicely. And since my grandson talked me into letting him take the game home with him I will be purchasing another one before he comes back to visit in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend!

I bought it because I needed games that my 4 kids could all play together on the Wii. This is one that I purchased and all my kids like it and can play it with ease.

i bought this game for my brother. we are almost 30 years old. we played the competition games with our mom and spouses for hours. it’s easy to learn and so much fun. some of the minigames are similar to others but with small variations that make for fun challenges. we got into the sawing games and our arms were worn out after competing against each other. the game is very kid-friendly. it’s one of the best $15ish games out there that we’ve played. the optional wii board usage makes for a whole new level of entertainment with this game.
