I really liked this game. I was a lot of fun. My husband and I played together and it was fun because it challenged us both.
I would recommend.

Great Game. The wife and I can play for hours. The kids enjoy trying to help (4/6 years old). Fun for the whole family. Scrabble meets mahjong.

We own Word Jong for Nintendo DS and iPod Touch, so we immediately jumped at the chance to own it for Wii too. It is a great game for anyone loving word games. It is easy to learn and just all around fun.

I love word games, so I’d probably still rate this 5 stars even if it wasn’t as good as it is.
But, it’s a lot of fun. I like Mahjong and I love almost all word games, so this was a must purchase for me.
People who don’t love word games don’t like this too much though. But maybe it’s just because I’m pretty good and can beat almost all of my friends.
The “quest” part of this is a little annoying, because it’s so slow, and doesn’t add a lot of fun over the one-off game, so I haven’t played that part too much.

We love this game! I had not been able to find it locally, but rented it from the library and was instantly addicted – playing several hours a night all week. I love the multi-player feature. Everyone I have had play this game has loved it, in fact there is now a weekly “fight” at the library over who gets to take the game home that week! Finally ordering my own copy so I won’t be in that line too.
The designers did a great job on the interface. Playing with multiple players (my favorite way to play) is amazingly easy considering screen space, the controls are fantastic – just the right remote sensitivity, good choice on buttons, etc. There is the perfect amount of strategy with the use of the power ups and fun just playing to find words.
The only downsides are that the character comments (computer players) are rather silly, and the dictionary is a bit odd – it takes some things that are not exactly standard english words, but will not take many real words.

This game is very good. It is great to use daily. It lets me create words and see words I didn’t know about. I am on level 22 out of 40 levels. The battles with the masters are great. This is a game for anyone that wants to challenge their spelling and intellect. It is great game and fun to play with others as well.

I had never heard of Manjong but I was intereted in word games. I had never owned one and really haven’t played them. This is including scrabble or boggle. I picked this game up because my wife loves word games and I wanted a game me and her could play together since she is not a big gamer. I’m not really a big gamer myself but I like to play video games. I brought this home and had a couple friends stop by. I asked them if they wanted to play…inserted disc…and that was all the entertainment we would need. We played this for hours. The different multiplayer modes are incredible and even if you are watching someone play by themselves, you still feel like your in the game. Then the game has a daily challenge mode with a new puzzle everyday! Need I say this game is extremely addictive. My wife never lets me put the Wii in our room. She says it’s tacky! That night we laid in the bed and just kept playing Word Jong Party till we fell asleep! The Wii has been in our room since. This game brings people together as does the Wii! Excellent effort. Can’t wait for the sequel.

I’ve taken to playing this game while exercising on the treadmill… let me tell you, great fun!!
5/12/9, Still love this game. PLAY IT EVERY DAY… Loved it so much had to go buy a DSi system so I could play against BF when he’s away over a wifi connection. Would have been nice if the Wii game version allowed us to play over the net…. but still… best game.

This is great game for any fans of the original PC game from Pogo or DS game Word Jong. It is basically Mahjong but with letters instead of shapes and symbols. Think of it as slightly different version of Scrabble. Overall its a fun experience in single player mode and in party mode which allows you to play against 2-4 other people in the same mode. The only other thing I could really wish for in this game would be a online play mode like the DS version has.
